Looking at Shifting Alliances
Friendship
Devolving love
Degrades to apathy
Moves from dislike to true hatred
MaliceThis is a Crapsey Cinquain which is not about iambic pentameter or rhyme schemes. Instead it is a syllabic form in which there are a specific number of syllables in each line (2-4-6-8-2). This poem is similar to the diamante form which is on the horizon (possibly by Friday) in which the first line is in contrast to the last.
As I mentioned previously there is a reorganization taking place in my department. That said there have been quite a few people having anxiety attacks over perceived threats. The emotional ups and downs have been more than my psyche can handle. My credo to "never pay to be tortured" has been put to the test in that I want to get off this roller coaster. Still I am strapped in and hanging on since there is no way to put the brakes on this ride.

Prayers for you..Kimberly? Did I remember your name?
Thanks for the prayers - God knows who I am even if you call me Kim (it's Valerie).
Oh, Val -- I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. I have been thinking that you were doing pretty well with it, but it seems it's getting to you now. When will it be done?
We were supposed to be done the end of March. There is a committee of the high and mighty who asked for more information so we've spent all this time getting it together. We have to report back to them on May 1st. From there it is anybody's guess. They could accept the plan, modify the plan, reject the plan, ask for still more info... we are hoping that it is resolved before I go on vacation May 20th.
I hope when the changes are finally done, that they are ones that you can accept, and if not, that God gives you the strength and wisdom to do what you need to do, even if it's not what your want.
I know a gal here who recently stepped away from a job she had for years, with good pay and high security clearance, because the stress of having been asked to look the other way when acts against her morals were taking police.
I don't think the changes will result in me quitting. I just want the uncertainty to end. We have worked so hard and we want the changes to happen sooner rather than later. Still the final outcome is out of our hands.
Place. Stupid autocorrect.
