  • Unseen

    There was a man
    Old and frail
    There was a road
    Wide and busy
    There was a dandelion
    Dried and blown
    He left his home
    Crossed the street
    And was never
    Seed again

This is for the August Scavenger Hunt prompt #27 seed. I know it is not used properly but this was what came to mind. I amuse myself. I hope you can have a sense of humor half way through a very long week too. I am going into work tomorrow at 6:30 AM and my last time point in a study is at 6:25 PM. This week seems to never end. I will be so ready for the Saturday Van Buren Trail expedition with @saintvi and @Bookmark61.

@wematter - Ha! I'm a big girl and I work for some really trying folks - I doubt your comment would have caused me to bat an eye! I'm hoping it cools off and I don't bake and burn!

@vexations - Hehe! Yes my mind goes in many directions -usually on a whim!

  • I think it's clever and fun! Great job!
I once wrote a poem with "wrong" words that sounded right. It was fun!
    HUGS!!!

  • Cutest poem that I have ever seed!

  • I don't know what the scavenger hunt is all about but it sounds like fun just like your writing. Sometimes I feel like an old dandelion, or at least old and tired.
